Kristin Kreuk, born
to Deanna Che and Pete Kreuk on December 30, 1982, in Vancouver, British
Columbia, Canada. Kristin attended and graduated from Eric Hamber
High School in Vancouver, which her favorite class was French and
as well as did some school plays during her time there. Kristin wasn’t
popular during high school she defended her as ‘boring and shy’
during high school. She spent most of her time in her room reading,
writing and she focusing on her studies.
While in high school her drama teacher informed Kristin about an open
audition for a teen-drama series on CBC in Canada by the name of Edgemont.
Kristin not thinking of herself as an actress as well as actually
not being that she’ll get the part went to the audition anyway.
When she got the call back that she landed the role for Laurel Yeung
who was the last character to be cast, since the casting directors
were having trouble finding the right person to play her, Kristin
was surprised and promised herself that she’ll give it a go.
Taking the role, Kristin took it as a way to save money for college.
This never happened. Since right out of high school Kristin landed
the role as Lana Lang on the highly acclaimed WB television series,
Smallville. A role that is sure to set off her career as an actress
in Hollywood.
While in the process of making herself a name in TV land, Kristin
managed to land her first leading role on a made movie for Snow White,
as Snow White. Kristin will also be doing a cameo in a teen flick
Europe trip this up coming year. As Kristin continues her career in
the entertainment industry, it is just a matter of time before she
becomes a superstar as she has natural talents and diligence.
